Summit of Pikes Peak

On my trip to do Pikes Peak, I met up with a Muslim family. They kept passing me up then I passed them up until finally, we were like let us hike together.

One of the hikers was struggling towards the end so of course in my true fashion, I helped by making conversation to help cope with the struggle to get to the top. At the top the person thanked me and started crying out of joy.

Inclement weather at the top, so the Muslim family offered me a ride back to my car.

Moral of the Story

Hiking with others can often help make the journey more enjoyable and memorable, especially when people from different backgrounds come together and help each other out. It’s wonderful that I was able to assist someone who was struggling and make their experience more enjoyable. And the fact that the Muslim family offered me a ride back to my car despite the inclement weather shows true hospitality.
