The Power of Entertainment

Why do people love entertainment so much? There is a large demand for it and it is only growing. People have always wanted to be entertained and it has evolved over time and I believe that it will continue to evolve. I believe that people love entertainment because it gives them a break from the things in life that are stressful. I think that entertainment is growing because as a society we are on average more stressed out then ever before and therefore we are looking for more opportunities to escape and entertainment is the perfect option for an escape. Entertainment allows us a break to relax and a chance to think about something enjoyable.

I think that entertainment is somewhat important to society. Not because of the economic gain that comes from it but from a moral stand point. If you think about entertainment itself, what is the point of entertainment in its simplest form? To me that answer is to make people happy. I believe that the idea of entertainment is pure in intent. It is important that people are happy without happiness the world is boring and sad and no one wants that, so we have entertainment.

Everyday we look for entertainment. From a day to day basis it mostly looks like watching TV or playing video games. These are forms of entertainment that we use on a daily basis to entertain us and make us happy. We use these as distractions from the stress and burdens of our daily lives. We look for large forms of entertainment usually in the form of vacations. People usually are looking for large breaks from their lives when they go on vacations. People usually travel to go on vacations and this helps them escape the stress and unhappiness in search of a break to help them regain happiness.

If you think about your favorite vacation most of your memories are likely to be happy. That is one of the reasons I believe that people vacation not only to regain happiness in the moment but remembering the good times we have on vacations help us find happiness in our daily lives. Having happy memories helps us to be happier people in general.

Entertainment can help families become closer when they experience it together. It can even be entertainment as simple as going to the movies or as extravagant as traveling across the country for a luxurious vacation. Entertainment can be a great reason to spend more time with your family. It is a great experience for every family to go though and being closer to your family can also bring more happiness.

Some people prefer to enjoy entertainment on their own. Many people go on vacations alone or with only part of their family for example parents may go on a vacation without their kids. Part of this could be because people are not only looking for an escape from the stress of their lives but they are also looking for relief from the people in their lives. There are lots of people who get overwhelmed with their family lives and are looking for a break and a solo vacation can be the perfect opportunity for such a thing. Or some people create art or enjoy viewing art to entertain themselves and this is a great escape from reality.

Entertainment varies from person to person. Not every one is entertained by the same type of activities. Some people enjoy reading books where others may enjoy video games or going and watching a live show. Entertainment can also vary with different age groups. Younger audiences may enjoy some forms of entertainment that older audiences may not necessarily enjoy. That is part of why entertainment is such a big concept as well as it being such a large industry.

If you let it entertainment can be very powerful and it brings so much needed happiness into the world. We are constantly looking for something to entertain ourselves and that thirst for entertainment is only going to grow. Entertainment brings people together and it can be used to create happy memories. The main reason that entertainment is so important is because of the happiness it brings the world.
