Installing a NGINX Web Server while launching the AWS EC2 instance
Hello friends! Today we are going to install a Nginx WebServer when we launch an EC2 instance rather than installing the WebServer after the EC2 instance is launched as what my last post talks about. In this way, we can do two things at a time. Now let’s start!
Step 1 Launch an EC2 instance
Step 2 Verify the NGINX Web Server are working.
If not, we can edit the security group and add the entry with port is 80.
Great! It is running. Everything works well.
In summary, the user data field in the EC2 instance launching page provides users convenience by running Bash script upon the instance launched. Thus, we can complete multiple tasks in one step!
